Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account details (name, email, date of birth), driver verification details (mobile number, driving licence photos), booking details (dates, times, car, payment status), and messages you send to partners or our AI assistant. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and never touch our servers.

2. Analytics and cookies

With your consent via our cookie banner, we record anonymised usage analytics (pages visited, searches, clicks) to improve the site. If you decline, we store no analytics identifiers linked to you. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage.

3. How we use your data

To run your bookings, verify your identity and licence, process payments and refunds, send trip updates by email and text message, and keep the marketplace safe. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who we share it with

Your partner sees the details needed to run your trip (name, trip dates, contact). Payment processing, text-message verification and email delivery are handled by vetted service providers under data-processing agreements.

5. Lawful bases

  • Contract — account, bookings, payments and trip messages, needed to provide your trip.
  • Legal obligation — keeping payment and tax records.
  • Legitimate interests — driver and licence checks, fraud prevention and keeping the marketplace safe.
  • Consent — analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account details: while your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of closure.
  • Booking and payment records: 6 years after the trip, as UK tax law requires.
  • Driving licence images: deleted within 90 days after verification is complete.
  • Analytics events: 26 months.
  • AI assistant chats: 12 months for signed-in users; guest chats are not stored.

7. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and move it to another service. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

6. Contact

For any privacy question or request, message us through the AI assistant and we'll pick it up. See also our Terms of Service.
